@ Harvest | Saturday, August 28, 2021

Spring approaches and we’re chuffed about it. In fact, we’re chuffed about lots of things. Exciting projects in the wings, stallholders ramping up, the vibe! With DJ Grinning Cat and Meg & Sophie banging out tunes, the SOMA stage is set to bring the vibes up to 11 for our Saturday morning. Reach for the lasers! BYO lasers 😂🥳

One of the delights of Harvest is that, not only can you stock yourself up on the finest of fineries Tasmania has to offer, but you can also do yourself a rolling feast. MeatBreadCheese for a hearty brekkie, (Anton and Tash are back after welcoming their new baby into the world, congrats to them!) Treats from All Things Cherry and Delicious Little Things for elevensies, rolling into and Bruny Island Oysters and Brady’s Lookout Cider for an early lunch … then … siesta. Bliss.

Back from a medium-rare hiatus are VixKitch! There is nothing kitsch their new season marmalades, tomato chilli pickle, chilli jam and the beautiful range of jams and chutneys you’ve come to know and love though. Vicky and Malcolm can’t wait to ply you with their wares and kindly remind you to return those empty jars you’ve been saving! There’s something in it for you if you do 😉

Come to think of it, some of VixKitch’s tomato chilli pickle and some Sandy’s Sourdough, would go beautifully with that mushroom ragu omelette pictured above …keep an eye out for the recipe … OK got to go, I’m proper hungry now.
