The word community in the full name of the Harvest Launceston Community Farmer’s Market underpins the true value of this weekly event. It is all the people who are special. Week in, week out, the producers bring their wonderful produce for market goers to experience, find something new and exciting in the latest seasons offerings or take home their favourites. Volunteers and Harvest friends work behind the scenes to ensure its smooth operation.
Harvest Launceston is a weekly celebration of the community and not just another shopping destination. It is in the individual stories of the people who come to the market that its true value is located.
