The team at Harvest have another delicious market planned for you this weekend with more of your favourite producers and hot coffee!
This week we welcome a new artisan cheese producer Red Cow Organics from the North West Coast. If you missed Tasmanian Wasabi Products last week, they will be back again this weekend and are a must try for all wasabi lovers! Lily Farm will have tulips in addition to their lilies and Coronea Grove is returning after a very successful harvest. Rob and Jenny tell us that the quality of the oil in the new season’s harvest is terrific – we can’t wait to give it a try.
Donna and Bill from Tas Daffodils will be wrapping at Harvest in the next few weeks so if you’re planning on planting some winter bulbs, the time is now. Also both West Bee Honey and Honey Tas will be at the market with their immune boosting Tasmanian Manuka honey – the perfect addition to everyone’s pantry in the depths of winter!
Our other exciting news is that our new neighbours at Hotel Verge are one step closer to moving in and opening their doors which means that all the shipping containers from the build have gone. It’s really lovely to see the space now that it’s opened back up and the word on the street is that the inside of the hotel is looking superb!
It’s set to be a relatively mild start to the day on Saturday with overnight temperatures only dipping to 6° – veritably tropical compared with the last few Saturdays…
See you at the market!
