Peonies, Duck, Oysters and Kimchi | November 14, 2020

We’ve got plenty in store for you at Harvest Launceston this Saturday.  We will be welcoming back Heathermoor Peonies with their first blooms of the season.  Did you know – peonies are perennial plants and the root stock can last for up to 100 years under the right conditions?!   KimchiMe and Strelleyfield Duck will also be at the market for their monthly visits and what better way to top off a warm Spring afternoon than with a dozen oysters from Bruny Island Oysters!

On Friday night Harvest Market cleaned up at the Tasmanian Community Achievement Awards, taking out both the Tasmanian Community Group of the Year AND the People’s Choice Award!  We were thrilled to have the community that we have all built together recognised at such prestigious awards.  THANK YOU for being part of our incredible community and, of course, thank you to all who put in a vote or three for us in the People’s Choice category!  We are looking forward to celebrating our 9th birthday with you all in February 2021.

The weather is looking lovely for this weekend, with a bit of cloud cover forecast, but at this stage the forecast is looking warm and dry with a breeze… perfect market weather!

Min 10° – Max 19°

For entertainment we will have Elkie Kershaw on the SOMA community stage from 9:30-11:30am.

See you at the market!!
