There is plenty to get excited about this week at the Harvest Launceston Community Farmers’ Market. Monday the 12th August marks the beginning of Tasmanian Whisky Week 2019, with industry events held across seven days in Tasmanian distilleries, bars, barns, stables, restaurants and hotels – http://taswhiskyweek.com. This Saturday, a selection of Tasmania’s finest whisky will be on show at Harvest, with the Tasmanian Whisky & Spirits Association offering tasting, sales, and information on all things you should know about this bottled liquid sunshine. Showcased distilleries include – Launceston Distillery, Adams Distillery, Corra Linn Distillery, Tas Whisky Selectors, Iron House Distillery, Fannys Bay Distillery, and Turners Stillhouse.

We are happy to welcome Thistle Hut Proteas & Cut Flowers to Harvest market this week, offering a beautiful range of freshly cut proteas, arum lillies and native flowers. Why not brighten up these dull wintery days with a bunch of native floral delights – a lovely colourful centrepiece for any kitchen table.
