The Harvest Launceston Community Farmers’ Market is back on online today featuring some of our regular stallholders and who are not at the physical market next Saturday. The olive oil harvest is underway and the folks at Lentara Grove are hard at work but their wonderful range of olive oils is available online. Oldway Farm attends the physical fortnightly but you are able to get some of their range of Angus beef packs, cheerios and Tasmanian Artisan Smallgoods bacon online.
With colder days here many of our seasonal producers are finishing up or their produce is taking a bit longer to grow. This means that produce such as tomatoes, capsicums, herbs and lettuces are not available at the moment as producers take a short break and let us hope they are singing to their plants to encourage them to grow!
Exclusive to our online farmers’ market this week are Pasta Merchant with their ready prepared meals, Lily Farm for some home delivered floral delights. The Tasmanian Butter Company is featured with their butter and buttermilk. Strelleyfield Ducks and Lenah Game Meats have a selection of their meats. Elphin Grove popcorn and baby corn together with the one of the craziest looking vegetables around are still available online.
And last but not least for all those chocoholics out there is Modo Mio Naked who take chocolate and brownie to a whole new level.
