HARVEST MARKET 7th March 2020 – THIS WEEK

Goodbye Summer, hello Autumn! Regarded as one of the best seasons in Tasmania with cool, dry days and crisp, clear nights, Autumn is the perfect time of year to enjoy all that this great state has to offer. At the top of your list, no doubt, is  the Harvest Market. The perfect place to experience the best of Tasmania’s farm fresh produce, value-add products and delicious ready-to-eat treats all under one roof (or one carpark). Each week, we carefully curate a mix of around 65 stallholders to bring you one of Australia’s best farmers’ market experiences. We pride ourselves on being one of the only truely authentic farmers’ markets in the country, delivering quality, fresh and valued food products straight from the producer to you.

This weekend TasDaffodils are back with their spring and summer flowering bulbs in a range of shapes, sizes, colours and varieties. Matt from Strelleyfield Tasmania will have his delicious, ethically raised, pasture-fed ducks, perfect for a Sunday evening roast with a side of mashed and buttered celeriac from Elphin Grove Farm. Wash it down with a glass or two of Brady’s Lookout Cider, Australia’s only cider maker dedicated to methode traditionelle. If you’re curious about how to make this delicious fermented apple beverage, why not get along to Brady’s Lookout Cider’s Pressing Day on the 14th March…limited spaces available so get in quack!

See for yourself why Harvest is a must-see, must-do, must-devour Tasmanian food destination….we guarantee you’ll be singing out for seconds.
