Harvest Market 27th July 2019 – THIS WEEK

It’s the last Launceston game for the Hawthorn Hawks this weekend which means Hawka’s Fork will be at Harvest for the final time this year! Bring the kids down to throw the ball with Hawka or do some cooking using fresh produce sourced from our very own Harvest stalls.

Plastic Free Launceston will again be joining us this weekend for the final week of Plastic Free July. This week you will learn the craft of making plastic-free bags by sewing reusable cloth bags as an environmentally friendly alternative.

We will have our usual selection of fresh produce, artisan foods, baked goods, craft brews and hot beverages this weekend. Why not start your Saturday with a bite to eat from one of our delicious ready-to-eat stalls? With a selection of sweet and savoury delights showcasing the best of Tasmania’s local ingredients, there is sure to be something to tantalise your tastebuds and curb your cravings.

After a well-earned holiday, Steve’s Vegies and Thirlstane Gardens will be back with their crunchy and colourful selection of farm-fresh herbs and vegetables. Matt from Strellyfield Free Range Ducks is returning with his maryland and whole Pekin Ducks, and Tamar Valley Truffles with their black delights. Sounds like a match made in heaven – roast duck and sautéed vegetables topped with shaved black truffles…a definite crowd pleaser.

See you at the market!
