Did you hear we have a host of 2019 ‘Royal Hobart Fine Food’ multi-award winners in our midst? Each year the Royal Agricultural Society (RAST) of Tasmania hosts the annual Royal Hobart Fine Food Awards. This event brings many judges from all over Australia (local and interstate), together to find our country’s best produce! On the 28th July, this year’s winners were announced and it’s no surprise that several of Harvest’s stallholders took home bronze, silver and gold awards across various food categories. In no particular order, the winners were – Modo Mio Naked, Rocky Gardens Fine Foods, Sandy’s Sourdough, Coal River Farm, Tamar Valley Truffles, Tasmanian Natural Garlic & Tomato, A Pinch Of Tasmania, West-Bee Honey, Della Valle Gelato, The Village Olive Grove, and Lentara Grove. Come down this weekend and hear direct from the producer about their award-winning products and take home a selection of your very own to savour!
If you know someone who hasn’t yet had the “Harvest experience”, we encourage you to invite them along this weekend so that they can see first-hand what all the fuss is about. The Harvest Launceston Community Farmers’ Market was created by locals, for locals. We have carefully curated a mix of Tasmania’s best produce, finest artisan food and beverages, and the tastiest of ready-to-eat treats for you to enjoy direct from the very person who farmed, harvested, baked, brewed, cooked and crafted the product. Why would you want to shop anywhere else?
See you at the market!
