Berries, Peonies, Lamb and Beef| November 28, 2020

The sun is shining, the days are heating up and the smell of Summer is just around the corner. Just when you thought life couldn’t get any better, you realise that this week it’s raining berries again at Harvest, with Bioberries and Sheffield Berry Gardens both in residence bringing fresh strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and a selection of frozen product. Get your floral fix with Heathermoor Peonies – their beautiful blooms will brighten any room and are a sure mother-in-law pleaser. The peony season is always short and sweet, be sure to make the most of it while you can!

Sally from Wanderlust and Marcus from One on the Slide will be at the market with their crowd favourites, so if you’re in the market for brunch this Saturday, be sure to pay them a visit.  Or why not take home a meaty treat from Real Beef’s selection of organically raised, grass fed Angus beef cuts, or treat yourself to one of their premium dry-aged steaks. You’ll be glad you did!  If it’s lamb you’re after, Hazelbrae will have plenty of lamb at market this Saturday and Fork it Farm will be right next door to Hazelbrae for their monthly visit to Harvest. Regine and Paul from All Things Cherry will be there with their awesome hand-made cherry pies, they are the perfect Summer dessert when paired with a scoop of Della Valle Gelato or some fresh cream from Elgaar.

On the SOMA Community Stage this weekend we have Grace Pratley sharing her music with us from 9:30-11:30am.

The weather is looking good for this weekend, with a mostly sunny day and very light breeze… perfect market weather!

Min 15° – Max 25°
