After a well deserved week off, Erinvale potatoes will be back at the market this weekend with plenty of varieties perfect for mashing, roasting, chipping, baking and more. Make sure you have a chat to Wayne and the team to find out which are the perfect spuds for your needs. And what better accompaniment is there to potato mash than the highly sought-after beef and plum sausages from Mount Gnomon. That’s right, Guy will have his famous sausages at market this week, along with a full range of beef cuts from the farm.
Locally roasted coffee from Ritual Coffee and Provenance Coffee Co. will be in high demand at Harvest keeping the hands warm and feeding the Saturday morning caffeine hit. To complement your coffee, don’t forget to try a buttery croissant from Sandy’s Sourdough or treat the family to a rustic sourdough miche from Apiece Sourdough bakery as the winter chill commences. Manubread will have their delicious freshly baked brioche loaves and crunchy baguettes to add to your shopping basket.
Finally, Stuart from Bioberries has been doing a John Farnham on us and keeps telling us that this will be “the last time” for the Autumn season, but lucky for us, he’s back again this weekend with more of those gorgeous fresh raspberries. Our advice is to get in early!
Entertainment this weekend will be provided by Spike Mason, followed by Swingmania. It looks as though we will dodge the rain on Saturday, with a fine day and top of 14° forecast. See you at the market!
