Puddings, Porchetta and Penna Valley Apricots – Saturday 22nd December, 2018

This week at Harvest Launceston, the festive Christmas market will be flooded with delicious Christmas puddings from Tasmanian Natural Garlic and Tomatoes and smoked hams, seasoned porchetta roast and other Christmas roasts from Mount Gnomon Farm. We welcome to Harvest for their first pick of the season, apricots from Penna Valley Farm this week. Ready for your Christmas summer berry trifle, pick up some fresh cream from Elgaar Farm and raspberries from Sheffield Berries, Westerway Raspberry Farm. Cherries will continue to be in abundance with Ferniehurst Cherry Farm and also Lees Orchard at Harvest. Tasmanian Butter Co will be selling their exclusive limited edition single malt whisky cultured butter, a perfect gift that is both unique and most importantly Tasmanian made. And for a rare treat (the season is usually finished prior to Christmas) we will still have asparagus at the market this week at Newry Farm.

The Weather forecast for Saturday: Possibility of very light showers, clearing to a fine day. 11-22°C.
