This week @ Harvest | May 1, 2021

Wow! Harvest is so fortunate that each week we have the best of Tasmanian produce at the market. This is not just our opinion, we are happy to admit we are biased, but Harvest producers continue to stand out in competition. The delicious. Harvey Norman Produce Awards 2021, has named the Tasmania’s state winners with the national winners to be announced in May. Now in its 16th year, the delicious. awards celebrates and honours the best and most innovative producers and produce in Australia in four categories, dairy, earth, paddock and sea.

Tasmania is well represented in each of the four categories with our local producers, from those that have been at the market since the beginning in 2012, to some of your newest and most innovative farmers being honoured. We are so proud of all of our stallholders who continue to grow and make such incredible produce.

Congratulations to all the Tasmanian state winners in the delicious. Produce Awards. Harvest stallholders named as national finalists are: In the Dairy category Elgaar Farm; from the Paddock section is Fork It Farm. Felds Farm, The Grain Family and Mr Brown & Towns Mushroom Garden together with Kindred Organics are finalists in the Earth category. Thank you to all these incredible people who provide us all with this amazing produce for our shopping bags each week. A full list of Tasmanian winners together with producers from other States can be found at the 2021 delicious. produce awards.

This week we have busker Gary Edwards on the SOMA stage from 8:30 and then kick up your heels from 10:30 with Swingmania dancing. The weather is looking good with a forecast for a sunny 22° Saturday.
