This week @ Harvest 8th May 2021

The Harvest Launceston Community Farmers’ Market has all the goodies, from floral to decadent, that you might need to make Mother’s Day perfect this year.

First on the shopping list would be lilies and tulips from Lily Farm, peony root stock from Heathermoor Peonies and bulbs from Tas Daffodils.

On Sunday start the day with a brew of tea leaves from The Tea Equation or freshly roasted coffee beans from Ritual or Provenance Coffee, follow with a breakfast of delicious bacon and eggs or a sourdough pastry. Indulge in some Bruny Island Oysters paired with sparkling cider from Brady’s. Have a chat with Luke and Bjarke from Oldway Farm and Larry from Real Beef Farm to find the perfect cut for a perfect lunch or dinner. See what is in season at Seven Springs, Felds Farm, Laos Farm and Steve’s Vegies.

Top this all off with a decadent chocolate treat from Modo Mio Naked, who have perfected vegan and gluten free brownies. Make mum smile with luscious little cakes and delicacies from Delicious Little Things, go nuts with some chocolate coated hazelnuts from Hazelbrae Hazelnuts and for a fruity treat try the chocolate and yoghurt blueberries at Three Peaks Organics. Do not forget her favourite jams and pickles, with Vix Kitch at the market for their monthly visit, or have a chat with Karen at Taste of TamO’Shanter and delve into her repertoire of preserves and remember to add that final flourish to any meal with a sprinkle of finishing salts from A Pinch of Tasmania.

On the SOMA stage we have Meg & Sophie and the Bush Babes or have a go doing the Salsa from 10:30 am.
