Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey! Has everyone recovered sufficiently from Junction Arts week? The Harvest operations team had a blast burning the Brum Brum radio shitbox in a field after their super fun times broadcast/vandalism session last week. It seemed peak Launceston and the only appropriate course of action.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for … Della Vale Gelato 🥳. Serving up to an adoring public the finest of hyper-local, lovingly crafted gelato, sorbetto, and semifreddo, we at the harvest operations team are near creaming our jeans with excitement at the re-emergence of Debbie and Dale from their winter hibernation. Lemon squash on a fine spring’s morning? Don’t mind if I do… pass the Metcalf gin please.

The Harvest Operations team is extending a massive olive branch of welcome and good tidings to Our Patch Pet Food đź‘Ź who are not only appearing at their first Harvest Market but indeed their first-ever market of any kind. Huge! We wish them the best of fortunes. So if you need to treat your furry best friend, these folks have you covered.

More honorable mentions for Harvest fortnightly appearances this week include Lily Farm and Tamar Valley Eggs, and La Cantara. Joy!

Bringing the good-times to the SOMA stage this week are our funk soul brothers, eternal crowd-pleasers and big-vibe bringers DJ Grinning Cat and Conrad Keeble. Get Down! To the tunes and of course, to Harvest Market. Word.

Keep an eye out for this week’s recipe, a funky-fresh and super simple carrot and coriander salad, sure to liven up your spring long-lunch table. Featuring Laos Fresh Farm carrots and Thirlstane Gardens coriander, you can’t go wrong.
